Kenny Visits Military Bases
“During the month of August, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Fort Rucker in Dothan, Alabama and Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. It was truly an honor to represent the UFC. Kenny Welecomes Opportunity to Fight Sean Sherk
“I would absolutely fight Sean Sherk for the Lightweight Division Title. The UFC said I was fighting Sherk in October or November, and I accepted. Then, all of a sudden, they pushed for the August show. However, I just got off the Stout fight and I’m leaving for Brazil for two weeks. Realistically, I need more than 3 weeks to prepare for that fight. Sherk’s been on the sidelines training for a fight for several months.”
Quick Victory: Kenny Takes Stout Out On The Ground
After saying he was “more than ready” to fight Sam Stout, Kenny Florian in a minute and forty six seconds of the first round put the highly regarded Stout on the ground and quickly ended the fight with a rear naked choke hold. It was text book BJJ. Seizing the opening Stout gave him, Kenny took the fight to ground and laid a barrage of punches and elbows to Stout’s face.
