It’s “FLO” TIME! – FLO-TV Taps Ken-FLO to Promote Live Mobile Coverage of UFC 114
In a play on words, or in this case names, Ken-FLO and FLO TV are teaming up. Kenny Florian has been tapped by mobile television leader FLO TV (www.flotv.com) to promote FLO TV’s live mobile pay-per-view (PPV) offering of UFC 114 “Rampage vs. Evans” on Saturday, May 29. FLO TV is now an official mobile distributor of live UFC PPV events, beginning with last weekend’s UFC 113 when Mauricio “Shogun” Rua captured the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship in convincing fashion in the highly-anticipated rematch against Llyoto Machida.
“We are very excited to have this deal with FLO TV, giving our fans a new way to watch UFC events live and on-the-go,” said Dana White, UFC president.
FLO TV will offer live UFC PPV events on its FLO TV Personal Television and FLO TV Auto Entertainment systems. FLO TV viewers can order the fight for $44.99 at FLOTV.com or by calling 1-888-99-FLOTV. FLO TV customers who purchase UFC PPV events have access to the event replay for a 24-hour window ending at 10 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. PST the following day. Leading up to the fights, all FLO TV’s customers can watch a UFC preview channel featuring pre-fight interviews and the live weigh-in. To demonstrate its support for the UFC fan base, FLO TV also will be exhibiting at this month’s UFC Fan Expo™, May 28-29 in Las Vegas. Taking a break from his broadcasting duties with ESPN 2’s “MMA Live” Kenny will be appearing at the FLO TV booth to meet fans and sign autographs (Day and Time TBD).
“It’s always great when I’m promoting a product that is actually valuable to me on a personal level, and FLO TV is exactly that,” said Florian. “Between my own training, filming episodes of MMA Live, seminars and other appearances, I have little time to just chill on my couch at home and watch TV. FLO TV allows me utilize my travel time and other down time in my busy schedule to catch up on the TV I like to watch.”
