Keith Florian – BJJ and MMA Coach

Keith Florian has won numerous BJJ and submission wrestling championships over his 8 year career in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He is a 2001 and 2003 Bronze Medalist in the Pan American BJJ Championships, 2003 Grapplers quest Gi Champion and 2004 Grapplers quest gi / no-gi black belt champion are just some of his accomplishments. Keith holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He coaches Jorge Rivera, Kurt Pellegrino and many other professional MMA fighters.

Keith holds a bachelor’s degree from Babson College. Keith manages and teaches at the Florian Martial Arts Center in Brookline, MA. He is also owner of Beyond Appraisals Inc.

Firas Zahabi – Striking and MMA Coach

Firas is the head MMA trainer at the Tristar Gym in Montreal. He has quickly becoming one of the more respected coaches in MMA. Firas was the Canadian Muay Thai champion and won titles in Jui Jitsu as well. In addition to coaching Kenny, Firas is the head trainer for Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones, and Denis Kang. Peter Welch – Boxing Coach

Peter was the 1989 New England Golden Gloves Champion in the Junior Middleweight division and is currently undefeated as a professional boxer. He served as the boxing coach on the Ultimate Fighter Season 1. Although boxing runs through Peter’s heart and soul, his true talent and gift is his extraordinary ability to train and motivate.

Sean Gray – Wrestling Coach

Sean is a two-time All-America wrestler at Virginia Tech, enters his sixth season as an assistant on Carl Adams’ Boston University staff. Gray has been instrumental in moving the program forward in a variety of aspects, specifically in the recruitment and development of some of best wrestlers to join the Terriers in recent years. Since Gray’s arrival, seven wrestlers have qualified for the NCAA Championships, including three in 2009.Gray. Jonathan Chaimberg – Strength and Conditioning Coach

Jon was a former member of the Canadian National wrestling team. He has worked with many top Mixed Martial Arts fighters, including Georges St-Pierre, Denis Kang, Rashad Evans, Nate Marquardt, David Loiseau, Keith Jardine and many others. Johnathan Chaimberg web site

Kyle Holland – Strength and Conditioning Coach
Kyle is a graduate of the University of Iowa where earned his degree in Health and Sports Studies with a minor in Exercise Science. While at Iowa, Kyle volunteered as a student intern with Iowa Football’s Strength and Conditioning Program. He also interned at Velocity Sports Performance in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Kyle also interned at University of Louisville Football Program. Kyle trains athletes of all ages from youth sports all the way through the collegiate and professional ranks. He has trained athletes from the UFC, NFL, MLB, NHL, AHL, and the ECHL one on one and in a group setting. George Lockhart – Nutrition Consultant
George Lockhart has served as a United States Marine for 9 years, with two combat tours and fighting professionally for 10 years. He is a Combat Conditioning Instructor and Martial Arts Instructor Trainer. His current assignment in the Marine Corps, is to train Martial Arts Instructor Trainers. He has worked with numerous Marines cutting weight (to make weight), for various fight events, losing weight (to tape out) for Physical Fitness Tests, and performance based diets – geared at improving performance for the PFT.
